Autofly is a software tool that allows operators and remote inspectors to expand their hardware and inspection capabilities through zero latency streaming, precise mission execution, and full remote drone functionality.
The Autofly GCS application found on the Google Play Store can easily be installed on any DJI RC and requires no additional hardware or modification to the drone.
To make it easier to understand, the basic functionality is divided into two parts.
Full Autofly Support, this includes:
- Camera and drone control
- Broadcasting/screencasting
- Smart inspect/waypoint mission planning
- Atlas GIS functionality
- Sync and direct upload of data to Unleash live
- Dropping pins and display of ortho maps for additional situational context
- Many more features.
You can read an article to learn more about Autofly and its capabilities.
The second deployment option is Screen Casting:
Using Screen Casting with 2-way audio, pilots can easily share video with stakeholders or a remote command centre. Screen casting allows drone operators to keep flying with their existing GCS app, such as DJI Pilot 2, while still having access to some of the benefits of Unleash live.
Autofly supports various drone models across these two different capabilities.
