Model Export Formats

Export your data from the cloud to your laptop for integration with third-party software. Choose from a variety of file formats including Orthomosaic PNG and GeoTIFF, DTM, DSM, GeoTIFF, Digital Surface Model GeoTIFF, DXF/SHP contour file.

With Unleash live, you can effortlessly transfer your data from the cloud to your laptop for easy integration with other software.

Below is a list of data export options. Please follow this article on exporting your models for directions on how to download the data.

File Formats Descriptions

Orthomosaic

PNG

(RGB Image)

Includes a .KML file with the georeferenced metadata.

Easy to share through any standard image software such as Windows Photo Viewer or Preview. Print or use within presentations.

Orthomosaic

GeoTIFF

(RGB Image)

Includes a .KML file.

This file format is ideal for conducting 2D analysis in GIS software like ArcGIS or QGIS, making it easy to analyze and interpret data.

Digital Terrain Model

GeoTIFF

(Raw Elevation Values - DTM)

One-band GeoTIFF file with embedded elevation values.

This file format is well-suited for conducting 2D analysis in GIS software like ArcGIS or QGIS.

Digital Surface Model (Raw Elevation Values - DSM) 

GeoTIFF

One-band GeoTIFF file with embedded elevation values.

File format suited for 2D analysis in GIS software such as ArcGIS or QGIS.

DXF/SHP

(Contour files)

Georeferenced lines of equal elevation

For use in AutoDesk suite and Asset software.

OBJ

(3D Model)

Digital Model .obj surface with .jpg texture files model.

Not georeferenced.

LAZ

(Point Cloud)

Dense point cloud that contains RGB information.

Most common file formats accepted across Asset Management software formats.

PDF Report Export

Available in our application natively.

Able to export a summary report in PDF format.

Source Imagery

(ZIP)

Zip file containing the processed model and orthomosaic source imagery

Also available via API.

Export your Projections

By default, most exports are generated using the most common global spherical coordinate system: WGS84 (EPSG: 4326). This coordinate system is commonly used for mapping tools.

If you require a custom EPSG code such as Universal Transverse Mercator (UTM), contact our support team at support@unleashlive.com to inquire about our custom EPSG support.
